On January 6, 2021, pro-Trump protesters turned rioters stormed the Capitol building in an attempt at a coup d’état. For me, this was an embarrassment to the United States. I remember when Trump was elected president and his supporters told people that if they didn’t like Trump being their president to leave the United States and now that the tables have turned they aren’t taking their own advice.
