Brian Laundrie’s autopsy shows that he died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Laundrie’s remains were found last month in a Florida nature reserve. He had disappeared just a few days after his fiancée Gabby Petito was reported missing. Laundrie’s remains were found on October 20th partially underwater. With his remains were a few personal items including a backpack, a dry bag, clothing, and a notebook. Law enforcement has yet to provide information about whether the notebook had useful information. Officials state that Laundrie’s parents had mentioned the possibility of their son committing suicide.
